| Testimonies We were in the Tuen Wan Plaza and I was making balloons. Two teen aged boys came up to me and asked for a balloon. While I was making their balloons I preached the Gospel. One of the boys wanted to start a relationship with Jesus. The other one was already a Christian. I didn't give them their balloons until I was finished preaching so that they needed to stay. A translator came along and made sure the one boy understood everything. Then he prayed to ask Jesus into his life. Brandon - USA We got to talk to a lady who spoke hardly any English. (Luckily our team member, Yan, helped out with her Cantonese) The woman said she had heard about Jesus before but didn't know the whole story. She was very interested when we shared the Gospel puzzle (a tool to share the Gospel in pictures) with her and how Jesus wants a relationship with her. At the end she said, " I want to know God like you do." So she prayed to accept Jesus into her heart. She was very touched and said, "Thank you" . Her face was lit up. It turned out that she was from another country so we encouraged her to find other believers and to get a Bible. We also were able to teach her about hearing God's voice and to pray again. She excitedly said once she goes back to her country she'll try her best to get to know God better! Tam and April - Germany and USA Anna Rees and I got to talk to one of the security guys who had seen the whole performance. We got to talk to him through our translators and he said he was 1/2 Christian but he believed in evolution. We got to pray for him that God would open his eyes to the truth. Pray for Cheun. Candace - USA I talked to a group of teenagers after an outreach. They did not see the outreach, but they were at the shopping center. I was able to share with them about Jesus and gave them tracts. I found out that they went to a Christian school, so Jesus was not completely new to them. They let me pray for them, a group of 10 teenagers standing in a circle in the middle of a shopping center with their heads bowed in respect. None of them received the Lord that night, but they were so open, I know God won't let them go. Anna - Australia |
