Testimonies

During our intercession, I got the name Ming. I was not sure about it but I shared with the group. After our program we shared the things we got during intercession, like a person with pain in the left shoulder and God will heal her. There was a lady by the name of Sally at our performance and the group prayed for her. I talked to her too and she said her Chinese name was Ming. I showed her the intercession note (a piece of paper used to write down what God gives us in intercession). She was so encouraged to know God knows what she needed and that God talked very specific. She felt a lot better after we prayed and she believed God had healed her.

Today was awesome! As you have already read about our Sally experience and how we prayed for her shoulder injury. Lily and I noticed our bus driver in the morning was sick. We prayed for him that God would touch his body and that by this afternoon he would be noticeably better. When we got on the bus to go home, I asked him if he felt better. He said that he was much better. I told him we prayed for him and he said yes he knew and thank you.

Today, after the performance Sarah S. asked me to go talk to a man standing by some basketball hoops. I saw him earlier; he was very interested in the dramas; in fact he was in the front row. I approached him and asked how he liked the show. He said it was good. I proceeded to ask him then if he knew Jesus and he said yes, but he didn’t worship Him or any god. Trying to find another question, I just asked if he wanted to make Jesus his Lord and Savior and he said yes. So we prayed the prayer of repentance right there. His name is Mr. Ho and owns a store! We got his address and will hook him up with a local church.

After a good time in small groups, my group asked the boys if any of them would like prayer. The first boy I prayed with asked me to pray for his family, so I did. The next boy after I asked him what he wanted prayer for said he wanted God to forgive his sins! So I led him in a prayer of salvation and he genuinely gave his heart to the Lord! Then after I talked with him some, the next boy I prayer with also wanted to get saved! So I led him in a prayer of salvation too! It was so cool to see these guys give their hearts to the Lord!

I sat down with a bunch of boys. In the middle of talking with them, one of them, named Water, asked why God didn’t talk when he tried to listen to His voice. I told him we could try right now. I prayed for him and he said he saw ‘brightness and peace like he was in heaven’. I asked him if he wanted to start a relationship with Jesus, He prayed to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. After that, he stared sharing how his father would beat him and he also had anger problems. I prayed to break family curses and for him to forgive his father. I also spoke to him about his identity in Christ and that he is a new creation.

We prayed for 4 boys individually. The first boy asked us to pray that he would feel God’s love. So we did. After we prayed, we asked him how he felt and he said that he felt peace in his heart. The second boy we prayed for told us he read the Bible sometimes but seldom understood it. So we prayed that God would give him understanding. He felt happy, like a joy within him, which he has never felt before. The 3rd boy asked that we pray that he would not think bad thoughts of anger. And the 4th boy we prayed for said his mom was ill and having an operation at the end if the month, so we prayed for healing to his mom and peace to his family.
