Testimonies

After our second performance, we talked with an older man named Kenny. He was interested in Christianity, but was not ready to get saved. We shared the gospel with him. And, after a little nudging, he let us pray for him right these on the street. At the end, he was very enthusiastic and grateful. As we left, he said, “God bless you!”

I met a guy from Kashmir who was staying in Hong Kong. He had recently recovered from a terrorist kidnapping. He also told us that he had been saved 15 days ago when he saw the Jesus film. So Johnny B. and I got to pray for him.

Tania and I spoke to a Nepali who was living in Hong Kong. He thought there was one God and that all religions were the same. We explained how Christianity was different and said he would read more about it as he had to go. He allowed us to pray a blessing over him. Also, 4 Nigerian Muslims allowed us to pray a blessing over them.

During intercession, I had a picture of a woman wearing white or cream clothing. God was saying that He wants to purify her heart. Well, on outreach, I spotted her right away. She was there from start to finish. I went to speak with her after the program but she didn’t understand English. So Yan, a Chinese woman from our team, came over to help. She was able to explain the drama and the gospel message to this woman and her friends. In the end, they were not ready to accept Jesus into their hearts. However, I know God touched them and a seed has been planted. We praise Him for that!

I talked to a 15-year-old guy for awhile about computers and video games and sports. At the end of our conversation, I gave him a small tract that we were handing out and I told him to read it. Later on, I felt that I needed to go back to talk to him again. So I went back and asked him if he had read the tract. He hadn’t yet. So I began asking him questions about his religion. I asked what he believed and I told him what I believed. He said he worshipped many gods. I told him I worshipped one God and He was personal. The boy was like my father. Both believed in reincarnation. I told him that I believed in heaven and hell, etc. He seemed very interested, so I asked if he would like to become a Christian. He said no, not right now. So I asked if I could pray to my God for him and that I could bless him. He agreed so I laid my hand on his shoulder and prayed that God would bless him, that He would show him truth, and the Truth would set him free.
