| Testimonies Today, we ministered in a Christian primary school and kindergarten and seeing the children while we performed and sang was amazing. Their eyes lit up, especially during the juggling. They all prayed with us and the greatest news of all was that they all knew who Jesus is and so a work has begun in their lives. Also, a little girl named Fiona came up to us and gave us a Christmas card that was written in Mandarin. It was so sweet! We said thank you to her and blessed her. We prayed for the children as we touched their heads and said, “Hello.” It was such a blessing. Some called me (Mikal) “Superman”. They don’t know me too well. Mikal and Sarah - USA My ministry partner and sister, Tabea, and I talked to 2 Muslim ladies from Indonesia about the true meaning of Christmas and the whole gospel. At first, one lady did not seem interested, but after awhile; she wanted us to pray that God would forgive her for the bad things in her life. We shared more about Jesus and how we must accept His gift of forgiveness. She didn’t give her life to Christ tonight, but wants to know more. Tamara - Germany In intercession, we got a word about a girl who needs someone to listen to her. Later, on Nathan Road, my ministry partner and I were talking to a woman who came after the program. She shared with us about a relationship that had just ended and she was questioning God about why He lets something’s happen. So we were able to encourage her and pray for her. (12/16/04) Lydia – USA This trip has really shown me how amazing God’s power can be. When the team and I went to Nathan’s Road, we could sense the spiritual battle going on. I am very sensitive to it and right away I could feel the evil trying to beat down on me. I started to feel sick, and I didn’t know if I could go through it. Some of my teammates prayed for me and right away I felt better. Before we started the program, we walked around praying that God’s blood could be upon the ground. We could feel God’s protection over each other. It was like a bubble around us. But the enemy would not surrender and started to beat on us more. But God was there. It gave me courage today to minister and I find myself growing so strongly while I’m here. It is amazing! He let me witness His power. (From 12/16/04) Anna – USA After our performance and gospel presentation, Judy and I (John) got involved in a conversation with 6 Chinese boys. We talked at great length with the boys and they were asking the most fantastic questions! We had completely expressed the gospel and explained our personal experiences with Jesus. All 6 remained attentive and then they fired off their questions. “ How can I know God’s love? How can I experience it? How do I know if it’s true?” And when they asked, we explained, “To experience God…you must first ask Him! You must taste and see for yourself that the Lord is good!” They really seemed to be excited about when we had said, but they weren’t just ready to take a step of faith. They all wanted to study more and think about this idea of God. I admire that they are truly counting the costs to follow Jesus! I really believe that all 6 of these boys will believe and put their trust in the Lord! They are hungry for truth. They talked to us for so long (over 30 minutes) and were completely late for their next class! Please pray for these young boys! John – USA and Judy – Australia I sat down with a group of about 10 girls. They were all excited because one of them got saved. 3 of them were already Christians. One of the girls was really interested in joining YWAM after college. The 3 who were saved and I prayed for the new Christian. Watch out for a new YWAMer(s) in a few years! Shannon – USA I watched Barbara and Dustin give their testimonies and at the end, I felt the Lord’s power go out to the audience. It touched my heart. Barbara went straight into the dance, Emmanuel, right after her testimony and brought tears to my eyes. She shows such courage and I felt so proud of her. Tony – Australia |
