Testimonies

While we were at the college, I was praying at the back of the crowd. While someone else was preaching, I was asking God whom He wanted me to reach out to after the message. I heard Him say, “Girl. Front row.”
So as I gazed out into the front row, I saw a couple of girls. My (ministry) partner, Tony, and I went up to them after the preaching. We introduced ourselves and asked how they liked the dances and dramas we had presented. One girl said, “I want to cry!” It was very clear that they (the dances and dramas) had spoken deeply to her. Tony and I shared the gospel and then asked her if she would like to receive Jesus. She said yes! So I got to lead her in a simple prayer committing her life to Jesus. It was awesome! The cool thing is that I’ve never actually led someone to the Lord like that and have been asking God for that. I pray now that she would be the first of many!

My ministry partners and I were talking to a group of 15 year olds. We were able to preach the gospel completely and one of the boys, who was Christian, helped translate. One of the other boys became a Christian in the group.

I met a guy who used to be a Christian but was not anymore. I asked, “What made you stop believing?” He said, “If God made man, then who made God?” I did not know how to answer him. I answered, “It is one of those things where you have to have faith in the Bible.” Then I prayed for him and that God would show this man that He was real and that He cared about him. We then gave him a couple of tracks and left. About 10 minutes later we saw the man intently reading the tracks. I started praying for him out loud and I started crying for no reason (You see, I don’t ever cry.) A few minutes later, this man was praying to himself and checked the curious box on the info sheet and wants to hear from a local church.

In our intercession time, someone saw a girl with a red jacket. As we arrived, there was a woman in a red jacket. That was like, “WOW!” God is real and it was cool to see that He is working.
